3 Years on from buying my Can Am Spyder RT-S and I seem to be fulfilling a desperate
need for there to be a UK independent Spyder Ryders website. I just missed out on
the first Spyder event held in Linz Austria on may 14th 2010 but spent every possible
moment enjoying my ride up until the 2011 Spyder celebration in Erba Italy when I
discovered a new found love of the open road and also met some great new friends
(two of which are pictured below: Steve and Nicki). I found a few websites that had
forums including the SPYDERRYDERUK site that promised to fulfil my need for endless
information and goodies ! Sadly this was not going to be the case. A lack of support
from the manufacturer and ryders has meant the site is now closed. I hope this does
not happen to the UKSPYDERWEB and intend to promote it as much as I can. I have been
getting out and about and meeting you guys and have already met many ryders !! This
site should be used as a form of communication between like-minded Spyder owners
and enthusiasts and over time a source of knowledge. I will be organising various
rides throughout the year and posting any info about European rides on the site.
I take a motorhome with me and stay for the whole show, tents and caravans are also
welcome. Spyders can be exhibited in the show hall and we are actively encouraged
to do so as they love em ! If you arrange a ride out please take pics and send them
to me as I am fed up looking at, and hearing about, the large French and German rides
involving 120+ Spyders. We have nearly 380 Ryders in the UK !! Lets get it organised
people.
